All SocketTools licenses include an unconditional refund or exchange guarantee for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. Within this period, you can request a refund or exchange your license for a different SocketTools edition by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and providing us with your contact information and product serial number.
After a refund has been issued, the license is voided. The product serial number is no longer valid and the SocketTools components cannot be redistributed. A voided license cannot be transferred, and technical support cannot be requested for a voided license.
We provide a free trial version of SocketTools to all developers who wish to evaluate our components. If you have questions about specific functionality, or compatibility with your development tools, then we encourage you to download an evaluation copy to work with. We also provide technical support to evaluators, so if you have any questions or problems, please let us know how we can help you.
Priority and Premium Support agreements are non-refundable, whether they are purchased in conjunction with a product or individually. A support agreement is valid for one year from date of purchase, and is associated with a specific product license. If a support agreement is purchased with a license that has been refunded, the paid support agreement will not be refunded and support will no longer be available for that product.
A support agreement may not be transferred to another developer independently of the product license it is associated with. If a license is transferred, then the support agreement is also transferred with that license. If a product is upgraded while a support agreement is active, it will be automatically added to the new version of the product and does not require any action on the part of the customer.
