Visual Studio 2022 was released on November 8, 2021. SocketTools 10 Build 1290 and later includes support for Visual Studio 2022 and .NET 6.0. Developers who have a SocketTools 10 license can update to the current version at no cost.
SocketTools fully supports Visual Studio 2022, and we have included .NET 6.0 assemblies with the latest update. If you are interested in working with the .NET 7.0 Preview, you will need to install the latest Visual Studio 2022 Preview.
We do not plan on deprecating support for earlier versions of Visual Studio. We will continue to support projects developed using Visual Studio 2010 and later.
