Microsoft released .NET 9.0 Preview 6 on July 9, 2024. It is the unification of earlier versions of the .NET Framework with .NET Core, enabling developers to use a single framework and runtime with uniform behavior supported on multiple platforms.
To work with the .NET 9.0 Preview you will need to install the current release of Visual Studio 2022 Preview (v17.11) and the .NET 9.0 Preview 6 SDK from Microsoft's website:
