Microsoft released .NET 7.0 Release Candidate 2 (RC2) on October 11, 2022. It is the unification of earlier versions of the .NET Framework with .NET Core, enabling developers to use a single framework and runtime with uniform behavior supported on multiple platforms.
To work with the .NET 7.0 Framework, you will need to install the current release of the Visual Studio 2022 Preview (17.4.0 Preview 3.0).

This preview build has a minimum required version of SocketTools 10 Build 1416 or a later version. If you have an earlier version of SocketTools, you will need to upgrade to the current release. This update is free to developers who have a version 10 license.
