SocketTools 10 has been released and is available for download. Version 10.0.1208.1512 was released on October 1st, 2019. This new version includes support for Windows 10 Build 1903, Windows Server 2019 and Visual Studio 2019. It includes new cloud storage and IP location components, new data encryption functionality and support for TLS 1.3 when it is made generally available for the Windows platform. Refer to the release notes for information about all of the changes in this release.
You can download the new version of SocketTools from the website. Developers who are using earlier versions of SocketTools must purchase an upgrade to install and use SocketTools 10. Serial numbers and runtime license keys for older versions will not work with the current version. If you have an active SocketTools Subscription, contact the sales staff to request your free upgrade.
The SocketTools 10 components and libraries can be safely installed side-by-side with previous versions of SocketTools. To update your applications to use the current version, you should replace the existing references to the previous versions with the new components. For more information about upgrading your applications, refer to the documentation for your SocketTools edition.
