SocketTools 12 Build 3024 (12.0.3024.1286) was released on June 17, 2026. This is a new major version release which adds support for native Windows on Arm (ARM64) platforms, a new Large Language Model (LLM) client for integrating artificial intelligence in your applications, a WebView library and control, support for HTTP/3 and many other improvements.

Please review the Release Notes for more information about the changes included with this update. SocketTools 12 supports the current release of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025. For the SocketTools Subscription and .NET Edition, this release includes .NET 10.0 assemblies for use with Visual Studio 2026.
Important: Because this is a major version upgrade, you cannot install SocketTools 12 with the serial number from a previous version. You can install SocketTools 12 and it will not conflict with applications created using an older version of SocketTools. An upgrade license can be purchased at a discounted price on our SocketTools Upgrade page.
If you have an active SocketTools Subscription, please contact our sales team to request a serial number for SocketTools 12.
For the SocketTools Subscription and .NET Edition, this update includes builds which use the latest .NET SDKs. If your projects are using .NET 6.0 or .NET 7.0, remember that these versions are no longer supported by Microsoft. We will continue to include assemblies which target those versions to assist with migrating your projects, but it's recommended that you upgrade them to the current LTS release. For Visual Studio 2022, this is .NET 8 and for Visual Studio 2026, this is .NET 10.
You do not need to uninstall previous versions of SocketTools when installing this update. For example, if you also have SocketTools 11 installed on your development system, you do not need to uninstall that version.
The SocketTools installer packages and components have been digitally signed with an extended validation (EV) Authenticode certificate which uses SHA-256 signatures.
