A new update for SocketTools is available for download. Version 8.0.8030.2386 was released on May 18, 2015. This is a complete product release that incorporates fixes from the previous general release, as well as all subsequent hotfixes.
This updates the protocols used to establish secure connections and address several security related issues. By default, all secure connections will require TLS 1.0 or later versions of the protocol and will not use SSL 3.0. Refer to the release notes for information about all of the changes in this update.
You can download the updated version of SocketTools using the same link that was provided to you when you ordered the software. Developers who are using earlier versions of SocketTools are eligible for an upgrade at a discounted price.
