The SocketTools Library Edition has function prototypes and constants available for the Clarion programming language. The minimum supported version of Clarion is 8.0 and we recommend that you use the latest version of SocketTools in your projects.
You can download the current Clarion support files from our server:
- SocketTools 11 — sockettools11_library_clarion.zip
- SocketTools 10 — sockettools10_library_clarion.zip
Please note that while we can assist with the questions about the SocketTools API, we cannot provide guidance with regards to developing with Clarion itself. It is recommended that you have some general knowledge of the C language to understand the technical reference documentation for the libraries.
SocketTools 11
You should extract these files into the accessory folder under the root installation folder for Clarion, and then you'll need to register the cstools.tpl template in the Clarion registry. The cstools11.inc file defines the constants and structures, and the cstools11.clw file defines the function prototypes for each of the libraries.
SocketTools 10
Important: SocketTools 10 reached end-of-support on August 31, 2023 and there will be no further updates to the Clarion support files for this version. It is recommended you upgrade your projects to use the latest version of SocketTools.
